All The Cool Horses Wear Them... I Swear.

After a long operation, the stallion slowly started to wake up. Responsibly, Red waited until the anesthetic has worn off until he tried getting up. Though the walls were padded, he was still delecate after his operation. He had a couple of wobbles, but soon he was wandering around sniffing the walls and exploring the room.
Jack and Stevie Rae sat in another room watching the horse. A smile broke on Jack's face for the first time since he saw Red trip on the corner towards the jump.
'He seems pretty good!' Jack smiled
'He does. It'll take him time to get used to it though.' Stevie Rae replied, 'You really need to stop blaming yourself though.'
'Well I will never stop blaming myself for this. Poor guy lost his eye and that's not just a little thing is it? However, for you, I will pretend that I don't blame myself. How about that?'
'That's the best I'm gonna get so I am gonna have to take it.'
